Trafalgar square, Nelson's column

Trafalgar Square in London, England is a very popular site in the city that commemorates The Battle of Trafalgar, a British naval victory in 1805 during the Napoleonic Wars.
The square has a big central area and large stairs leading to London National Gallery. In the centre of the square you can see the famous Nelson's Column with a statue of Lord Nelson, the admiral who commanded the British Fleet at Trafalgar.
