London Eye capsule

The British Airways London Eye, also known as the Millennium Wheel has incredible views – up to 40 kilometres in all directions. It is considered a true feat of engineering and it was designed by architects Julia Barfield, David Marks, Mark Sparrowhawk, Malcolm Cook, Nic Bailey and Steven Chilton.
The amazing London wheel has 32 high-tech air conditioned capsules that represent the 32 boroughs of London. The capsules turn within circular mounting rings fixed to the outside of the main rim - allowing spectacular 360 degree views at the top. One revolution of the London eye takes about 30 minutes as it rotates about 0.9 km/h or 0.5 mph (that means each capsule travels 26 cm per second).
The London Eye is much more than a tourist attraction. It is considered a symbol of London and a unique location for corporate or entertainment events.
