London Eye boat

London cruises along the Thames are also a great way to see London's sights, as well as riding up high on the London Eye. Various cruise operators offer guided tours with commentary, following a route past the Houses of Parliament, Saint Paul's Cathedral, London Bridge, Tower Bridge and the Tower of London plus lesser known attractions like the peculiar Oxo Building, the South Bank theatre and arts complex and Canary Wharf in London's Docklands. Traditionally, the last stop of a classic River Thames tour is Greenwich in south east London, famous for its historic naval base. Why not combine a spin in the London Eye with a trip down the Thames? Boat trips offer (often light-hearted) commentary from genuine Londoners, highly reccommended!
