The giant London Eye located next to London's County Hall can carry up to 800 passengers per revolution. People from five different countries participated in this great London project and its extraordinary construction took almost seven years.

The British Airways London Eye or Millennium Wheel is operated by the London Eye Company Limited - a Tussauds Group Company - and it has become the most popular paid attraction in the United Kingdom. It was opened by British Prime Minister Tony Blair on December 1999 and it was not opened to the public until March 2000 due to some technical problems.

The futurist capsules of the London Eye have air conditioning and comfy bench seating. They move really slowly so visitors can easily walk on and off at ground level. The views are stunning! You can see around 40 kilometres from the top, as far as the beautiful Windsor Castle.
