The Houses of Parliament in London, United Kingdom - also known as Palace of Westminster or Westminster Palace – has over 1,100 rooms. The Palace includes the Chambers of the House of the Lords and of the House of Commons, libraries, committee rooms, dining rooms, lobbies, bars and even a gymnasium.

The beautiful Palace of Westminster has several towers. Victoria Tower is 98 metres tall (the tallest) and it’s a square tower at the south-west end of the Palace. It was named after Queen Victoria and at the base you can see the Sovereign's Entrance to the Palace of Westminster, which is the entrance that the monarch uses whenever entering the building. In the middle you can see St. Stephen’s Tower or Central Tower which is 91 metres tall. At the north-western end of the Houses of Parliament is the most famous of the towers, the Clock Tower also known as Big Ben (Big Ben is actually the name of the tower’s largest bell). This elegant tower is 96 metres tall and each of its four sides has a large clock face. In front of the Palace – between Old Palace Yard and Westminster Hall – there is a small tower with the main entrance to the House of Commons (St. Stephen’s entrance).
