Covent Garden

Covent Garden is a very famous district in London, England, where you can find amusing street performers, plenty of shops and entertainment facilities. The ‘Royal Opera House Covent Garden’ (also known simply as ‘Covent Garden’), is one of the major opera houses in the world and is also located in this charming area.

‘Covent Garden Piazza’ can be found right in the heart of Covent Garden district and used to be the site of a lively flower, fruit and vegetable market. In 1974 the market was moved to Nine Elms, a district of London between Vauxhall and Battersea, in South West London. Nowadays the market is known as ‘New Covent Garden Market’ or simply 'London's Larder'.
