The famous Victoria Memorial is an elegant sculpture located in London, England. It is placed in front of Buckingham Palace, at the centre of the lovely Queen’s Gardens.

The Victoria Memorial has several statues - the statue of Queen Victoria facing towards The Mall, dark bronze statues of the Angel of Truth facing south-east, the Angel of Justice facing toward Green Park, Charity facing Buckingham Palace and Victory on the pinnacle with two seated figures. The whole sculpture reminds of Great Britain’s naval power.

The surrounds of the amazing Victoria Memorial was constructed by the architect Sir Aston Webb using 2,300 tons of white marble and the statues were built by the sculptor Sir Thomas Brock in 1911. The Memorial, as well as the impressive Buckingham Palace, is a powerful tourist magnet in London.
