Trop de lits dans la chambre et donc peu de place pour ranger les valises. Sanitaires propres mais vraiment en nombre insufissant (à mon étage, pour environ 20 personnes, deux WC et deux douches mixtes dans la même pièce sans possibilités de fermer à clés; Sinon petit déjeuner continental correct, et ambiance sympathique entre les voyageurs, mais le personnel n'est pas très sympathique au bar, mais sympathique à la réception. Je précise que j'ai 49 ans et que mon jugement n'est pas le même que ceux des jeunes gens qui fréquentent cet hôtel en majorité. Siutation de l'hôtel parfaite car c'est vraiment en plein centre de londres.

bar acollé, sympathique, avec réduction pour les personnes de l'auberge et1 schnaps ou collation offerte pour chaque arrivée. Salle de bain ac 2 douches communes par étage, sans loquet.. Ambiance plutôt agréable et conviviale. Bon accueil.

bonne situation géographique, à 2 pas du métro.Par contre, accueil moyen, propreté (sdb+wc) très limite!Pas de lumière ds les wc.Assez bruyant pour dormir!Mais bon rapport qualité prix tout de méme.Petit déj ok.

The staff are fantastic! Very friendly and helpful. The bar downstairs is also a bonus - a great spot to meet fellow hostellers, both at breakfast and in the evening. For price and convenience, Dover Castle can't be beat. A few caveats: the hostel is overcrowded with too many beds crammed into rooms and too many people for the number of working showers and loos. The matresses are old and worn. If you stay, try to avoid getting a bed in the hot and stuffy third floor rooms. The showers on the 2nd floor don't have any pressure - try the 1st or 3rd floor showers instead.

My stay at the Dover Castle Hostel was very pleasant. The staff did their best to meet all our demands and wishes. The atmosphere was really cool and I had a great time.
